Welcome to the Museum of Modern Mythology and Pop Culture. Below, are links for items representing specific archetypes "real or imagined." There are also Genre links. There, other archetypes, of which the Museum hasn't many items, yet, can be found alphabetically. The Genre links can also be searched by title, subject, or item.

Let's say you're looking for The Cisco Kid. Can't find him in the archetypes list? In the "Western and Pioneer" section go to the index and look alphabetically under C for Cisco Kid. As with the archetypes links, proper names are listed last name first, fictional people also, the way you do with "real" people. Holmes, Sherlock.

The items are crossed-indexed and, for example, an item may be in both the Dracula and Bela Lugosi sections but with different text, or in the case of, say, magazines or comic books, different interior-detail. We've been scanning, and will soon take to the camera for items too large for the scanner.
