DOC SAVAGE

1933. The Man of Bronze. Raised from birth to be a super human physically and mentally, this incredible character and his five friends pioneered a trail of science fiction, mystery and adventure that influenced heroes from Indiana Jones and James Bond, to Superman. In 181 Pulp Magazine issues (1933-1949), Doc and the amazing five have some of the most bizarre, action packed adventures in literature. Created by Street and Smith's Henry W. Ralston and John L. Nanovic, Doc was crafted by writer Lester Dent, writing under the name Kenneth Robeson.
